CNET Networks Hires Former Time Inc. Executive to Lead Network Sales

SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 8, 2007--CNET Networks, Inc. (NASDAQ:CNET), a leading interactive media company, today announced that Dave Morris, a former Time Inc. executive, is joining the company as senior vice president of Network Sales. In his new role, Morris will be responsible for overseeing CNET Networks' corporate sales accounts.

A veteran of Time Inc., Morris brings more than 20 years of marketing, sales, and publishing experience to CNET Networks. Most recently Morris was president and publisher of Entertainment Weekly and EW.com, where he led the publication and Web site to record profits and audience numbers.

Prior to Entertainment Weekly, Morris was publisher of Sports Illustrated, where he was responsible for the magazine's advertising sales, marketing and business development operations. As Publisher, he also directed the advertising sales for the magazine's bonus editorial sections (including SI Golf Plus), SI's custom publishing arm, Sports Illustrated Presents, as well as its home on the Internet, SI.com. Before becoming a Time Inc. veteran, he was a sales representative for Parents magazine and a media planner at SSC&B (now Lowe Worldwide).
